Say:All men can stand unfavourable but if you wanna test a man's character give him power.
Mean:All men can be disliked but if you wanna test a man's character jus give him a hard task.
Matter:We may hate or dislike someone for one thing but by testing tht person's character you can figure something out you might like.

Say- Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a mans character, give him power.
Mean- They're saying mostly all people can survive a hostile environment and come out okay. But if you gave those same people a great amount of power they may be changed and that is how you can test their character. Some people do the wrong things when they have power and are blinded to the right things
Matter- It matters because most people don't know how to handle a lot of power. And giving a person power is a good way to judge their character.

Matter: To understand that a man changes with power in his hand.

Say : Nearly all men can stand bad luck, but if you want to test a man's morals, give him power.
Mean : Most people can handle a bad day or hostile surroundings. But, if you give people power, they might "crack" under pressure or use it for wrong doings. Some people can't handle all of the pressure of power or just the power itself.
Matter : This matters because if you want to have power, you should know how to use it correctly. You can see if the person is "good" or not if they don't use their powers right.
Say: If he says he is strong give him power
Mean: Not everyone can handle power
Matter: Dont try to say that you are strong and you cannot handle power
